- Please do not include any personal or sensitive information (such as your home address, phone number, family details etc.) in your posts or comments. Keep in mind that social media is a public space and, as such, you should only share information you wish the general public to see. We will never request your personal information via a public post. If you do receive a request for this information, do not respond and please do let us know so that we can help protect others. Report any suspicious activity directly to the social media provider.
- If you send us a private message with your contact information so that we may respond to your request, we will handle this personal information in accordance with the McCain Global Privacy Policy.
- Every now and then, we may wish to share your comments to promote McCain. By posting on this page, you grant McCain the right to use any posted content without any legal or monetary obligation.
- This page will be monitored and McCain may, in its sole discretion, delete content, report and/or block anyone who overtly, wilfully and/or repeatedly ignores or breaks these McCain House Rules, including in respect of content that is:
- Inaccurate, misleading, deceptive or fake about the McCain organization, business, family, people, suppliers, customers, brands, or products
- Unlawful, illegal, or fraudulent
- Pornographic, derogatory, or inappropriate
- Personal data or information of another person (without consent)
- Abusive, threatening, violent, offensive, or intolerant
- Discriminatory
- Violent or could incite violence
- Indicative of trolling or bullying behaviour, or attacking of individuals either within or outside of this community
- Deliberately provocative or disruptive
- Overtly promotional of views, including political, irrelevant to the community
- A breach of intellectual property rights
- A suspicious link, such as one e.g. containing possible malicious software
- Spam
- An advertisement, implied advertisement or promotion posted by users
- Since social media is live 24 hours 7 days a week, despite our ongoing efforts, we may not be able to immediately review, verify and/or remove offensive, inappropriate or inaccurate posts.
- Serious matters or material non-compliance with the foregoing may be referred to the authorities for further review and action.
- Please do not click on any link that has not been posted officially by McCain; we cannot guarantee the safety of the link, nor legitimacy of the content.
- Please do not post possible product or business ideas, however interesting, on our page. McCain follows a very clear process in respect of unsolicited submissions, especially since McCain may already have similar work in progress or under consideration. No ownership rights will accrue to any product or business idea by virtue of posting these on our page.
